Join the Los Alamos Coop Market

The Los Alamos Cooperative Market is owned by its members and operated for their benefit and the benefit of their community. Benefits of membership include:

• participation in member discount days and availability of other member discounts;
• participation in the direction of the co-operative;
• ownership of a sustainable community enterprise; and
• most importantly, the existence of a natural food and grocery store in Los Alamos providing quality products and services.

The Los Alamos Cooperative Market offers two types of memberships:

• Founding Lifetime Members —
  • purchase a lifetime membership for $250 plus tax ($268.28);
  • agree that termination of membership and recovery of equity is subject to the policies of the LA Co-op and the laws under which it is incorporated;
  • are members of the LA Co-op from the time of joining, entitled to participate in LA Co-op elections and other member decisions.
• Charter Annual Members —
  • purchase a non-refundable annual membership for $30 plus tax ($32.19);
  • are members of the LA Co-op from the time of joining, entitled to participate in LA Co-op elections and other member decisions.

Both are household memberships: partner(s), children, that thing in the back of your fridge which is beginning to compose poetry, all are covered by one membership. Refer to the bylaws and articles of incorporation for more information on membership and on the Co-op.
