Although we all won't be able to operate the backhoe, there are many exciting and rewarding ways to help out the Co-op in the months to come.

First, we will be staging occasional work parties for painting, landscaping, and other activities.  Please consider subscribing to the workparty mailing list.  This announcement-only list will be used to send details of upcoming events.  Subscribing is not a commitment... but even if you can't make it to an event, you might be able to spread the word.

If you have more time and/or skills, please consider joining one of our three working committees:

• Member outreach and volunteer coordination (volunteer@losalamos.coop) - Representing the co-op at public functions; working with the media to get our message out there, and coordinating volunteer work teams;
• Fundraising and financing (fundraising@losalamos.coop) - Planning and organizing financing; reviewing the project budget and coordinating with the builder and developer; and
• Project oversight and equipment purchasing (project@losalamos.coop) - Overseeing and coordinating tenant improvements, equipment installation and outfitting of the store.
